As we begin 2026, I'm excited to share that I've completed Construction Mastery 101 a significant milestone in my real estate development journey. This comprehensive course has given me an in-depth understanding of how homes are built from the ground up, covering everything from foundation work and framing to electrical systems, plumbing, and finishing details. As someone with a deep passion for real estate development, gaining this hands-on knowledge of the construction process is invaluable. Understanding what happens at every stage of development from breaking ground to final inspection allows me to make more informed decisions, communicate effectively with contractors and builders, and ultimately create better projects that serve our communities.
Being part of the Women's Affordable Housing Network has brought everything full circle for me. The relationships I've built through this process have been incredibly meaningful and transformative. From attending the Atlanta Mayor's inauguration to participating in affordable housing events throughout Atlanta, I've had the privilege of connecting with passionate advocates, developers, and community leaders who share the same vision of making quality housing accessible to everyone. These experiences have reinforced my commitment to affordable housing development and shown me the powerful impact we can make when we come together with purpose and expertise.
My passion for real estate runs deep. I purchased my first 5 acres of land at the age of 24, and from there, I continued acquiring properties through land auctions and creative deal structures. I purchased my first creative deal over ten years ago, and that experience opened my eyes to what's possible. My continuous training within Pace Morby's Subto community has deepened my expertise with current strategies in Subject-To financing (where buyers take over existing mortgage payments) and other creative methods used to obtain assets. I've also refined my skills through Veena Jetti's Mastering Multifamily program in underwriting, broker outreach, T-12 analysis, and capital strategy.
I work with clients nationwide to secure capital for earnest money deposits, transactional funding, double closings, construction financing, and flexible creative solutions for Subject-To transactions, foreclosures, seller financing, hybrid structures, and distressed-asset negotiations. I'm also the author of a 220-page Real Estate Foreclosure Guide, and I'm currently working on my second book, Land Blueprint, set to release in February 2026.
My foundation was built in commercial property management, leasing operations, CAM reconciliations, property valuations, tenant relations, REO management, and coordination with lenders, brokers, and contractors. This operational discipline informs every strategy I touch today.
