Balancing motherhood and entrepreneurship isn't always easy, but the rewards make every step worth it. Having lived on both coasts, the West Coast holds a special place in my heart. Being an entrepreneur gives me the flexibility to spend quality time with my family, and that’s what makes this path truly meaningful for me. I'm grounded in gratitude and driven by a deep desire to serve and uplift others.
My journey into real estate started back in college, where I worked for a commercial property management company. I was responsible for entering rents into Yardi software and managing CAM reports. That role gave me hands-on exposure, reading leases, implementing rent increases, and seeing how property value is managed behind the scenes. I earned my real estate license at 22 and purchased my first home at 23. From there, I dove into REO properties, gaining experience in Broker’s Price Opinion (BPO) reports, collaborating with realtors, managing contractors, working with banks, and handling the full bid process. I closed my first 5-acre seller finance land deal at 25, and the experience taught me so much along the way.
Today, I’m a Creative Real Estate Investor specializing in deal structures such as subject-to, seller financing, wraps, and hybrid strategies. I provide innovative solutions for sellers facing challenges like pre-foreclosure and probate, while also supporting new investors as they navigate and grow in the real estate industry. I also serve as an Asset-Based Funder, using strategies like the Gator Method to fund deals and help others access creative financing. I’m a proud member of Subto, the dynamic community founded by Pace Morby that’s redefining what’s possible in real estate. On the commercial side, I stay actively involved through the Mastering Multifamily program led by Veena Jetti and Multifamily Freedom Chasers, where I continue to sharpen my skills in all aspects of multifamily investing. My experience includes commercial broker outreach, capital raising, and underwriting multifamily deals. I’ve developed a strong understanding of analyzing pro-formas, reviewing T3 and T12 financials, and carefully evaluating rent rolls to assess a property's performance and potential. This hands-on experience has allowed me to build confidence in identifying solid investment opportunities, evaluating risks, and collaborating with like-minded investors.
Outside of real estate, I’m deeply passionate about social justice, equitable access to housing, and advocating for underserved communities through education and empowerment. I’m constantly seeking to understand the root causes of systemic inequality and believe that real estate and equitable access can be powerful tools for driving meaningful change. Over the years, I’ve volunteered with non-profits, managing, building websites and supporting community members as they navigate resources, build confidence, and feel empowered. One of my most memorable experiences was volunteering at a homeless shelter during the holidays shopping for turkeys and groceries, helping prepare meals, and serving families, especially mothers and children. That kind of hands-on service is priceless. For me, real success isn’t just about what we build for ourselves; it’s about what we give back. I’m also a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity.
Beyond business, I’m in my element early in the day after a good meditation session; coffee in hand, mind open, and ready to create. I’m a foodie who loves exploring global recipes, and I’m always diving into a good book. I find deep joy in anything that connects me to culture and nature. Whether I’m exploring the history of architectural landmarks, learning about indigenous roots and ties to the land, hiking scenic trails, or simply soaking in the peace of a waterside view, these moments ground and inspire me. I also value quiet reflection taking time in stillness allows me to stay present, recharge, and stay connected to what truly matters. This journey is personal, powerful, and full of purpose.
